You can request a ride through the smartphone app. On the main screen, you can begin a booking by inputting a destination (the app assumes your current location as the pickup, you can change this by tapping on the pickup location). After doing so, the app will provide an estimate and you can confirm the booking by tapping “Request Car”

Currently, this feature is not supported. We operate solely through the smartphone app. Check back soon for updates!

Passengers can cancel their ride any time from their app. However, you may be charged a cancellation fee if you cancel 5 minutes or more after a driver has accepted the booking request. You may also be charged a no-show fee if you fail to cancel the ride and the driver arrives at the pickup location without successfully contacting the passenger after 5 minutes of waiting.

Safety remains at the core of Uride’s operations. Originally created as a solution to impaired driving in Thunder Bay, Uride maintains that same goal within our overall goal of providing quick, reliable and affordable transportation to all markets. We have a zero tolerance policy for illegal activity on the platform. We aim to rewrite the narrative around ridesharing. We are part of the community, serving the community.

Absolutely! We require 12 hours advance notice, however you can book a reservation anytime by simply toggling the booking to “later” on the main booking screen.

Yes! You can set an automatic tip percentage on your profile, or you can leave a tip via the app after the ride ends during the review stage.

Completely normal. If no cars are currently available, the app will keep your booking request in the queue until a driver frees up, Rides are still dispatched by radius to ensure the fastest possible pickup times.

Uride aims to operate 24/7 although there may be extenuating circumstances where coverage is poor or lacking during certain times in certain markets. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you need to confirm coverage in your area.

Receipts are automatically generated for every ride and emailed to your address on file. If you choose to leave a tip after the ride, a second receipt for the tip is also generated.

Absolutely, and we highly suggest you do! We don’t leave those reviews without action, we maintain weekly and monthly service reviews and these reviews are paramount to improving the service. The first step in improving is listening!
